EFTSec 2.0

Application Description: Equinox’s own point-to-point encryption application installed in over 10 sites worldwide and processing over 3.4 million secure transactions per month, EFTSec 2.0 allows all or a portion of transaction data passed between a POS terminal and an access network to be encrypted so it is secure from any commercially-viable attack.  This P2PE solution is a “plug-in” to your existing network infrastructure that does not disrupt current network traffic, making implementation seamless.  Financial institutions and merchants can preserve their current investment while offering customers state-of-the-art protection.  EFTSec 2.0 is the intelligent choice, where we bring together tried and tested solutions to provide our customers peace of mind.

Version Description: Version 1.11 includes DUKPT key management schemes, and most notably Format Preserving Encryption (“FPE”).  The solution also utilizes a FIPS140-2 Level 3 Hardware Secure Module (“HSM”) to manage keys, encryption, and decryption.  It also utilizes Equinox Payments ANSI X.5009 standard Remote Key Injection infrastructure to download keys securely.  It is also the first PCI PA-DSS 2.0 certified solution.
