Core Services Product Manager
Job Summary
Equinox Payments is seeking a product manager to lead the company’s product roadmap as it relates to core services, with the initial focus on payment terminal management systems and a customer portal to the company’s payment terminal repair and logistics services. The secondary focus is third-party applications enablement and delivery, with SAAS as the reference business model.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Strong command of product marketing and product management fundamentals

- Productization Articulation of features, benefits and proofs

- Product life-cycle management
- Acts as advisor to functional peers to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Acts as liaison among the functional departments within the company as well as among the company, the sales force, and the customers for all product related issues
- Represents the voice of the customer for a specific product line
- Plans for current and future product designs that benefit the company
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- High energy
- 5-7 years or more of formal product management experience, preferably in SAAS, the payments industry, device management or related to payment terminals
- Ability to acquire quickly deep technical knowledge and insight of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of products as they relate to market trends
- Enables management to give guidance, not direction
- Highly empathetic for end-user experience, which for this role means consumers, merchants and/or the entities who place payment terminals at merchants
- Ability to manage not only products, but projects and processes
- Superior time management skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication
- Ability to conduct market research both through internal and external sources
EDUCATION REQUIRED
- BS degree, preferably in Marketing
PHYSICAL REQIUREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
