Equinox Payments is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our products, from manufacturing to repair and recycling. We work with our suppliers, manufacturers, partners and customers to implement environmentally responsible and sustainable practices that are in compliance with applicable regulations and help conserve the Earth’s precious natural resources.
Sustainability plays a key role in our product lifecycle. Our contract manufacturers maintain quality certifications, including ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management to ensure the efficient use of resources and the reduction of waste. Adherence to RoHS directive and the Dodd-Frank Act’s Conflict Minerals Law helps restrict the use of hazardous materials and minimize environmental pollution.
Our commitment to environmental sustainability doesn’t end with the manufacturing and delivery of our products. Our Aftermarket Services include e-waste and recycling programs that help reduce the harmful effects that can occur when electronic equipment and components are dumped into landfills. We recycle all materials including plastics, copper, gold, silver and ferrous metals.
We sustainably recycle and dispose of all e-waste—including that from our competitors’ devices—in a proper manner on behalf of partners and customers as they update their estate of terminals and accessories.
